What are the Australian guidelines for physical activity?

A
  • be active on most if not all days
    • 150-300 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 to 150 minutes of vigorous physical activity per week
    • muscle strengthening activities on 2 days per week
    • minimise the amount of time spent in prolonged sitting
    • break up long periods of sitting as often as possible
