Prior to any training, and before operational tasks where possible

A
Rope length minus 20 feet

A
Yes, but rope needs to be fully recovered prior to transitioning

A
“5 mins, below 60kts, clear door” , rope is attached
“2 mins” - team checks themselves
“30 secs” - no more turns, team un strap
“LZ in sight, your con”
(ACO) ‘Check height’ - “Xx feet”
(ACO) ‘ready to rope’ - “clear to rope”
(ACO) ‘clear to roll’ - “rolling”
