Q

On your physical fieldwork what were your results and conclusions?

A
  • Most hard engineering was effective
  • Sea walls are very effective
  • Groynes are partially effective
  • Erosion only happened on unprotected areas
  • Accuracy could be improved
  • Reliability was improved by sharing data

Q

What were your results and your conclusions for you human field work?

A
  • Most people had a perspective that strood had a lower quality of life
  • Because it was more industrial, low quality shops, derelict shops, and high deprivation. Although there are pockets of high income and high priced housing
  • Community spirit was good in both places
  • Along a line from Rochester towards Strood, quality of housing declined, and so green spaces

Q

Samples in your human field work

A

Small sample size individually, but large when shared, this leads to high reliability in results and data
