“odd” and “weird”:

“Weird” is stronger – it means something very strange, often hard to explain, and sometimes creepy or unsettling.
Example: That guy was acting weird, like he was talking to himself.

So, “odd” feels lighter or more playful, while “weird” can feel more intense or bizarre.

“Terrific” and “terrible”:

Note: A long time ago, “terrific” could mean something scary (related to “terror”), but today it’s almost always positive.

→ Use “listened to” for deliberate attention.

1. “Was heard on the radio”
- Meaning: Implies passive/unintentional exposure to sound. The subject didn’t actively focus on it.

2. “Was listened to on the radio”
- Meaning: Suggests active/intentional engagement. The subject paid attention.
