How is a voltage induced?
When a wire is moved in a magnetic field. If the piece of wire is part of the circuit, a current will flow. ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION
How do generators work?
A col is rotated in a magnetic field. As the coil rotates, it cuts the magnetic field lines to induce a voltage across the coil
What is a transformer?
It is a device that can change the size of an alternating voltage. Two coils of wire are wrapped around a soft iron core. The alternating voltage supply is connected to the primary coil and the output alternating voltage is induced across the secondary coil
When does an energy transfer happen?
Whenever anything moves or changes
Can energy be created or destroyed?

It is a measure of how well a device transfers energy in the form we want
