Oral/oesophageal candidiasis Tx

Oral
Fluconazole 100-200 for 7-14 days
Oesophageal
Fluconazole 200-400 for 14-21 days

CMV oesophagitis Tx
A
IV ganciclovir 5mg/kg BD for 2-4 weeks or till symptoms resolve
Valgan can be considered for mild disease
Maintenance therapy NOT recommended

HSV oesophagitis
A
IV ACV 5-10mg/kg TDS followed by oral treatment for 14 fats

Cage bacterial diarrhoea Tx
A
Abx if CD4 < 200

CMV colitis treatment & secondary prophylaxis
A
IV GCV 5mg/kg BD for 2-4 weeks or symptom resolution.
Maintenance with VGCV 900 BD if retinitis or relapse - can be stopped after immune reconstitution- on ART, CD4 > 100 for more than 6 months

Crypto - 1st line ART
Nutazoxanide
Micro- 1st line ART
Albendazole
