LGV clinical syndrome

A

Primary lesion 3-30 days - painless papule or shallow ulcer
Proctitis, pharyngitis

Secondary ‘bubo’ - ‘groove sign’, matted nodes with discharge

Tertiary - chronic inflammation and fibrosis

  1. Doxy 100 BD X 21 days
  2. Ery 500 QDS x 21 days
  3. Azithro 1g weekly x 21 days

Aspirate fluctuate buboe

Sexual contact 4 weeks before or 3 months if asymptomatic - 21 days doxy
