What is the greenhouse effect?
It happens when gases in the air trap heat from the sun, warming the Earth’s surface.

Burning fossil fuels adds more carbon dioxide and methane into the air

Gases like carbon dioxide and methane that trap the earths heat in the atmosphere

The Earth gets hotter because more heat is trapped in the atmosphere

Strong storms, floods, or droughts that happen more often due to climate change
How does climate change affect animals and plants?
It changes their homes and can make some species die out or move.
How can climate change affects people’s health?
It can cause diseases, poor nutrition, and problems with food and water
