What is another name for a band test specimen? What are their dimensions?

A “coupon”
12 mm to 38 mm (1/2in. to 1 1/2in.) Wide and 150mm (6in.) long, depending on the welding code requirement. The coupons are ground so that the weld deposits reinforcements are flush with the base metal and the corners are rounded.
