Q

What are the three conditions with HGH

A

Too little (Pituatry dwarfism) -causes childlike feutrures in adults, infertility.
treatments-giving more HGH
Too much (Gigantism)
Effects: really tall and delicate. Treatment: if caught early removal of the Pituatry heart.

Q

Adrenal cortical tropic hormone

A

causes adreanal gland to produce stress hormone to trigger flight or flight

17
Q

Thyroid stimulating Hormone

A

Tropic hormone that causes the thyroid to produce thyroxin.
Thyroxin set bodies metobalic levels
Too much-weathloss,nervousness, too hot elveated pulse, fatigue
(Hyperthyrodism)
Too little-weithgain, feeling cold, muscel weaken, puffy face

18
Q

Oxytocin

A

Bonding hormone, Targets utarine lining and helps with contraction and child birth (positive feedback system) feeling love for breatfeeding

19
Q

Antidiuretic hormone

A

Targets kidneys.
used to maintain tonic levels
Increase ADH=less h2o=concentrated urine
Decrease ADH=More H20=diluted pee
