what are the two stages to a risk assessment within the land-based sector
first a formal risk assessment is carried out in advance of the work activities to be undertaken. While this is sufficient, the hazards, risks and subsequent necessary controls may need to be updated to reflect changes in circumstances such as specific workers, animal behavior, the worksite and weather conditions.
This process of constantly jeeping a risk assessment under review while the work is taking place is known as dynaic risk assessment and is a common practice.

why should pregnant people avoid livestock and what are the farmers responsibilties to keep them safe
this is because organisms that are infectious and dangerous for the feoutus may be present in the birth fluids of animals, particularly sheep, cattle and goats. therefore, farmers and livestock keepers have a responsibility to minimise the risks to pregnant people., including their family members, public, and proffessional staff.
what do employers need to do with people with disabilities
they may have impairments, so employers need to make reasonable adjustments, such as provision of additional or extended rest breaks, or adapted equipment or machinery to support them to be effective in the workplace while reducing any risk of harm
