-Skin, fluid (tears), hair ( collects dust), acid (stomach), diarrhea quick way to flush out the body)
Mucus membranes can be found in your mouth, nose, throat, eyes. Etc
-Your skin acts as a barrier protecting your body and preventing germs from entering.

White blood cells:

A

White blood cells are immune system cells.

Causes area to get skin red, inflamed, hot.

-Increases blood flow to affected area.

-They are located in your blood stream waiting to attack invaders such as bacteria and viruses.

-When fighting an infection, your body produces more white blood cells.
