Slightly moveable
Synovial/ freely moveable.

What is Fixed/fibrous or Immoveable?
A
Allow little to no movement between the joint.
Interlocked and held together by connective tissue
Allow small movement/ Cranium.

What is the slightly moveable joint?
A
Articulating bones are father apart
Separated by pads of fibre cartilage.
Allow wide ROM
EG Vertebral column discs

What is Synovial/Freely moveable joint?
A
Bones covered with layer of hyaline/articular cartilage
Enclosed by fibrous joint capsule containing synovial fluid
E.G Hip joint
Most of our joints are synovial joints.
