•Shelley was a romantic poet, anti-monarchy and supported social justice.
•Disliked monarchy and institutions that represented power and authority.
•Historical ref (Pharoah Ramesses II) used throne name ozymandias. Remembered for his tyranny and millitary exploits, large empire over egypt, greedy, arrogant.
