•Imagery and figurative language in start “elfin pinnace” feels all power hero of mythical story.
•Shift to repetition “huge peak, black and huge” totally overwhelmed, cannot find differing words for it, fearful, is deserted and state of shock. Simplistic definition from fear.
•Confidence and pride is reduced to monosyllabic words. Speakers vulnerable in comparison to nature.
•Repetition “No familliar shapes… no pleasant images… no colours of green”, power of nature, imbalance, focuses on everything do not know, can only describe what is missing not what remains.
