  1. Projection (up down) fibres (internal capsule, corona radiata)
  2. Association fibres (within 1 hemisphere, don’t cross midline)
  3. Commisural fibres (connect similar areas in left and right hemispheres = corpus collosum, anterior commissure… posterior commisure IS NOT commisural, part of midbrain instead)
