the language adopted by a government (used for official purposes like legislation, administration, and court proceedings.)
pidgin language
simplified communication that emerges when people who don’t share a common language need to interact. (It’s essentially a makeshift language, often drawing vocabulary from one or more dominant languages, and it serves as a lingua franca)
