What is the aim of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Legislation was introduced to help employees stay safe in the workspace. It helps how H&S is kept in the workspace.
What are approved codes of practice
Approved codes of guidance documents approved by the HSE, these can be used against you in court even though they are not law
What is the aim of First Aid at Work Regulations 1981
Establish what provisions of first aid are required - all injuries need to be reported to HSE, if not there can be a fine.
What do RIDDOR Regulations 2013 consider
Reporting injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences regulations
What are Manual Handling regulations 1992
To avoid the movement of loads by manual handling so far as reasonably practicable
