How does horse modify its HR?
At AV node

How does quinidine fix AF?
Prolongs refractory period so abolishes.

prolongs QT so can get ventricular arrhythmias and it is also vagolytic, hypotensive and causes GI ulceration, penile protrusion, stridor etc
What is the usual cause of tachydysrhythmias?
Secondary e.g. ENDOTOXAEMIA, hypoCa, hypoMg, hypoK, metabolic acidosis
Above what HR is suspicious for a tachydysrhytmia?
80 (higher than pain)
