▪ Adjust proximal box location to involve caries location (shift buccally)
▪ Crown rotated lingually – still need 90° cavosurface margins
● enter perpendicular to surface, angled pulpal floor, gingival floor flat
▪ Don’t cross transverse ridge if possible (just distal pit/prox. box)
▪ Or more conservative: slot prep (proximal box only)
