Behaviour whose reinforcement is mediated by a listener, includes both vocal verbal and nonvocal verbal behaviour.
Verbal behaviour
Is described as a form of verbal behaviour which is under the functional control of motivating operations and specific reinforcement provided by the listener
A mand
is under the control of a non-verbal discriminative stimulus and it produces generalized conditioned reinforcement.
Tact
Instances of verbal behaviour whihc are controlled by a verbal discriminative stimulus which does not have point to point correspondence with the response,
Intraverbal
Instances of verbal behaviour which are controlled by verbal discriminative stimuli and have point to point correspondence and formal similarity with the response.
Echoic
Involves reading..it does not mply that text has been understood. The textual operant has point to point correspondence, but NOT formal similarity. It is controlled by verbal stimuli.
Textual
Consists of writing and spelling words that are spoken. There is point to point correspondence between the stimulus and the response product, but NO formal similarity.
