How does a vacuum former work ?

A

In vacuum forming a sheet of thermoplastic is clamped and heated until it’s soft. A mould is then placed into the vacuum former and the air is sucked out from around it. This either pulls the plastic owner or allow it to be removed from the formed thermoplastic sheet
