3 disadvantages of maslows hierarchy

A

it can be highly time consuming fora manager to determine which level of the hierarchy and employees is located at and then tailor a strategy to them.

it is difficult to measure success as each employee may value each need differently. for example, and employee who is satisfied by annual celebrations may differ from an employee who’s social needs can only be satisfied with regular team work and interactions.

esteem needs may be costly as to best acknowledge an employee this may involve financial rewards.
