The number of staff that a manager supervises.
What is delegation in management?
Assigning authority to staff for certain decisions while remaining accountable for their performance.
What are the strategies for effective delegation?
Decide what to delegate, select staff, outline tasks, receive feedback, ensure confidence, set due dates, and maintain contact.
