20
Q

MCP Dorsal Glide

A

MCP extension
- push up w/palm down

21
Q

MCP Ventral Glide

A

MCP flexion
- push down w/palm down

22
Q

Prone Central PA Pressure (throacic)

A

Symptom reproducibility
Treatment

23
Q

Finger Technique Rotation

A

Segmental mobility (rotation)
Assess for pain
- stand contralateral to side of rotation

24
Q

Rib Springing

A

General mobility
Symptom reproduction
Treatment
- stabilize w/caudal hand

25
Lumbar Central PA Pressures
Assessment & treatment of lumbar mobility
26
Lumbar Unilateral PA Pressures
Assessment & treatment of lumbar mobility - contralateral rotation
27
Lumbar Positional Distraction
Distract spinal segment unilaterally for mobility
28
Anterior Gapping of SI Through Innominate
For posteriorly perceived pelvic girdle pain
29
Posterior Gapping of SI Through Innominate
For posteriorly perceived pelvic girdle pain
30
Sacral Thrust
For posteriorly perceived pelvic girdle pain
31
Passive Innominate Motion
More for end-feel than movement - Anterior = inferior directed force w/cranial hand - posterior = superior directed force w/caudal hand - stand on side of problem
32
Thomas Test
If thigh doesnt touch extend knee - thigh touches w/extended knee = tight RF - thigh doesnt touch w/extended knee = tight iliopsoas Leg abducts = tight TFL
33
Ober Test
Thigh doesnt lower horizontal & remains abducted = positive - tight TFL Make sure leg is abducted!!!
34
Caudal Femoral Glide
General mobility (flexion) - bent knee method for ppl w/knee problems - for people who dont have lots of range
35
Caudal Femoral Glide w/Hip Flexion
Hip flexion - used for people w/good range to take to end range - put leg on shoulder closest to mat
36
Lateral Femoral Glide
Form of traction (adduction) - hold as long as you can - put sheet on butt cheeks under back & parallel to mat
37
Anterior Drawer Test
Test ACL - sit on foot
38
Posterior Drawer Test
Test PCL - sit on foot
39
Knee Valgus Stress Test
Test MCL - look @ no flexion & 30 degrees flexion
40
Knee Varus Stress Test
Test LCL - look @ w/flexion & w/o flexion
41
Cranial/Caudal Patella Glides
Assess mobility of patella
42
Talocrural Joint Traction
General mobility - move pt into dorsiflexion
43
Dorsal Glide of Tibia
Plantarflexion - pad of thumb on medial tubercle of talus - towel under middle of foot
44
Intermetatarsal Joint Dorsal/Plantar Glide
General mobility - stabilize others & move 1 joint
45
Subtalar Distraction
Improve mobility @ subtalar joint - put cranial leg on pts thigh - caudal hand on navicular, calcaneus, & cuboid
46
Transverse Tarsal Twist
Mobility of tarsal rows - pointer of cranial hand on navicular & thumb on cuboid
