Καὶ πάλιν ἤρξατο διδάσκειν παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν.

ὃ μὲν ἔπεσεν παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν,

καὶ ἦλθεν τὰ πετεινὰ

καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτό.

and other seed fell

ἐπὶ τὸ πετρῶδες

⸀ὅπου οὐκ εἶχεν γῆν πολλήν,

καὶ ⸀εὐθὺς ἐξανέτειλεν

διὰ τὸ μὴ ἔχειν βάθος γῆς·

⸂καὶ ὅτε ἀνέτειλεν ὁ ἥλιος⸃

διὰ τὸ μὴ ἔχειν ῥίζαν

ἐξηράνθη.

καὶ ἄλλο ἔπεσεν εἰς τὰς ἀκάνθας,

and other seed/some fell into the thorn bushes

καὶ ἀνέβησαν αἱ ἄκανθαι

and the thorn bushes grew

καὶ συνέπνιξαν αὐτό,

and choked them

καὶ καρπὸν οὐκ ἔδωκεν.

and gave no fruit.

Question 27

καὶ ⸀ἄλλα ἔπεσεν εἰς τὴν γῆν τὴν καλήν,

and other seed fell on the good earth

καὶ ἐδίδου καρπὸν ἀναβαίνοντα καὶ ⸀αὐξανόμενα,

and gave fruit and grew and increased

καὶ ἔφερεν ⸂ἓν τριάκοντα καὶ ἓν ἑξήκοντα καὶ ἓν⸃ ἑκατόν.

Ὃς ἔχει⸃ ὦτα ἀκούειν ἀκουέτω.
