Aborted Engine Start
Engine Start Lever (affected engine) - CUTOFF
Airspeed Unreliable
AP - DISENGAGE
AT - DISENGAGE
FD SWITCHED - OFF
if necessary to stabalize the aircraft, set the following gear-up pitch attitude and thrust
Flaps extended: 10* and 80% N1
Flaps Up: 4* and 75% N1
APU Fire
APU Fire Switch… Confirm… Pull, Rotate, Hold for 1 second
Cabin Altitude Warning or Rapid Depressurization
Don oxygen masks and set regulators to 100%
Establish Crew Communications
Engine FIRE or Severe Damage/Seperation
AT - DISENGAGE
Thrust lever (affected engine)… Confirm - CLOSE
Engine Limit or Surge or Stall
AT - DISENGAGE
Thrust Lever (affected engine)… Confirm - retard until indications within limits or thrust lever closed
Landing Configuration
Assure correct airplane landing configuration
Loss of Thrust on Both Engines
ENGINE START switches (both)… FLT
Engine Start Levers (both)… CUTOFF
When EGT decreases Engine Start Levers… IDLE DETENT
RUNAWAY STABALIZER
Control Column… Hold Firmly
AP… DISENGAGE
* DO NOT RE-ENGAGE
If the runaway continues…
STAB TRIM CUTOFF switches… CUTOUT
if the runaway continues…
GRASP & Hold Trim wheel
Warning HORN (intermitten) or Warning Light - CABIN ALT or T/O Config
If the intermitten warning horn sounds or a CAVIN ALT light illuminates IN FLIGHT Above 10’000 FT…
- Cabin ALT Warning and Decompression Memory
or a takeoff config illuminates on the ground…
- Ensure correct airplane takeoff config
