A

Fever, stiff neck (swelling of meninges causes pain when stretched), headaches, confusion, photophobia, nausea and vomiting
Much more difficult to spot in babies, slow, irritable, vomiting, feeding poorly, bulging anterior fontanelle (soft spot of skull)
