Working your whole body for long periods of time without interval

Fartlek training
A method of training for runners where the terrain and speed are changing
Advantages of fartlek training
Can be done on a variety of terrains
Can include hill work, uphill and down
Disadvantages of fartlek training
May not be suitable terrain
Difficult for the coach to monitor
Circuit Training
An array of exercises arranged to avoid working the same muscle groups consecutively
Disadvantages of circuit training
Circuit needs to be set up and well planned out , good- Can include both aerobic and anaerobic exercises
