A

1) need for growth drives behaviour: keen to grow and improve and gain mastery over a challenge
essential for self development
linked to intrinsic motivation

2) autonomous motivation:
self determination more focus on intrinsic like autonomy
acknowledges extrincsic
purely self determined is intrinsic and pure pleasre and internal satisfaction
non self determined is where task has to get done and no pleasure
little choice in what person does
