Q

Contraction steps (5)

A
  1. Binding sites on actin molecules are exposed
  2. Cross bridges bind to myosin
  3. Cross bridges pull thin filament (power stroke); ADP and P are released from myosin
  4. New ATP binds to myosin, releasing linkages
  5. ATP splits, which provides power to “cock” the myosin cross bridges
  6. repeats steps
