Proximal lateral fibula - runs posterior to lateral malleolus and attaches to plantar surface of medial cuneiform, 1st metacarpal.
Plantar flex, Eversion.
Superficial peroneal nerve = L4-S1
Peroneus brevis
Distal/mid fibula runs posterior to lateral malleolus and attaches to 5th metatarsal tubercle.
Plantar flex, eversion.
Superficial peroneal nerve = L4-S1

Peroneus tertius
Extensor hallucis longus
Tib ant

Peroneus tertius
Ant/distal fibula runs anterior to lateral malleolus and attaches to Dorsal surface of 5th metatarsal.
Dorsiflexion and eversion
Deep peroneal = L4-S2
Extensor hallucis longus
Medial fibula/interosseous membrane - Base of distal phalanx of great toe.
Dorsiflexion and toe extension.
Deep peroneal = L4-S2
Tib Ant
Lateral tibia, interosseous membrane -runs anterior to medial malleolus and attaches to lateral/plantar surface of medial cuneiform, base of 1st metatarsal.
Dorsi-flexion and inversion.
Deep peroneal = L4-S2
Extensor digitorum longus
Fibula head, lateral tibial condyle, interosseous membrane - Distal and middle phalanges of digits 2-5.
Dorsiflexion, eversion and extension digits 2-5
Deep peroneal = L4-S2
