REASSURE- Acknowledge the inconvenience, ask them if they have any further questions.
When using the NDM what acronym can help you consider assessment and risk?
THRIVE +
THREAT - real or perceived intent to inflict harm / loss
HARM - to do or cause harm
RISK - likelihood of the event occuring
INVESTIGATION - examine situation and consider what action is required
VULNERABILITY - in terms of incident management - is the person vulnerable
ENGAGEMENT - groups engage for best possible outcome
+ - opportunities to prevent further incidents in the future
What does BUGEE stand for and what is it used for?
Acronym used to deescalate a situation.
