How do children and Adults differ in their presentation of LEAD poisoning?

A

Children = Acute GI illness then Acute encephalopathy, with confusion, lethargy, seizures, Intracranial HTN.

Adults = Polyneuropathy (classically motor predominant with wrist drop and foot drop)

+/- blue gingival line +/- hypochromatic microcytic anemia
