What is the nature of God ?
Omnipotent , omnipresent , omnibenevolent , omniscient
Define monotheistic
A religion that believes there is only one God
Define omniscient
All knowing, all seeing, a quality of God
Define transcendent
God is beyond human understanding

The first person of the trinity , creator sustainer and judge

The third person of the trinity who dwells within Christians to provide guidance and help

The state of undergoing pain, distress or hardship
Examples- Adam and Eve disobeyed God, Story of Job part of gods plan, balance the world , consequence of free will

6 days of work, 1 day of rest = 7 days, all powerful , man in image of himself
What is moral evil and natural evil?
Moral- suffering caused by choices of humans
Natural- suffering caused by the natural world
What are denominations ?
A distinct group within Christianity with its own organisation and tradition
What are Eastern Orthodox Christians beliefs ?
Special figures are great importance , prayer is very important also fasting
What are Roman Catholic Christians beliefs ?
Pope is the head of the Roman Catholic Church, means ‘universal’ , largest group
What are Protestant Christians beliefs ?
Head is the queen, means protest, modern church
Define blasphemy
Action or offence of speaking wrongly about God or sacred things
Define grace
God providing humans with love and reward which is not earned
What is sin and original sin?
Sin- action or through that separates humans from God
Original Sin- everyone is born sinful (free will)
