A

Brings the community of the church together, share the same mail therefore equal, remember and reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus to save them from sin

What are two different viewpoints of holy communion?

A

Roman Catholics – bread and wine become the actual body and blood of Christ, well is wrong to showing this has happened, Lord’s prayer is said, congregation go to the altar to receive

Non-Conformist- bread and wine are symbols of Christ’s body and blood, OpenTable to anyone to take bread wine, what Jesus said at the last supper or repeated by the minister

A

And island which is a place of pilgrimage due to it being a “thin place“ where the veil between the spiritual world in the physical world is thin, holds daily services

A

A place in Southwest France which is a place of pilgrimage dedicated to Mary the mother of Jesus it is said to be a place of 69 miracles and over 6000 cures that have taken place here

Light – a symbol celebrating Jesus is the light of the world Nativity scenes – shows Christians that Jesus was born poor and humble, equal Gifts- gold , frankincense and myrrh

Orthodox Christians- begins at midnight on Saturday , hold candles and walk into the dark, empty church to symbolise the women entering the dark empty tomb and finding Jesus missing body Catholic church and the church of England – they worship on the Saturday nights in the darkness then light the Paschal candle to symbolise that Jesus has risen from the dead

What are examples of ways that the church community help others?
They believe it is their duty to be involved in their community and help those in need, food banks, volunteering and street pastors help

They work in partnership with police, local council They respond to drunkenness, antisocial behaviour and crime They work outside nightclubs to help people get home safely give out lollipops and flip-flops
