increased bone turnover associated with increased numbers of osteoblasts and osteoclasts
there is resultant remodelling, bone enlargement, deformity, weakness

A
asymptomatic in majority
deep boring pain and bony deformity/enlargement

A
pathological fractures OA raised calcium nerve compression osteosarcoma high output CCF

A
raised ALP
normal calcium and phosphate

what would you see on Xray in pagets disease
A
localised bone enlargement
patchy cortical thickening w/ sclerosis, osteolysis and deformity

A

how do you manage paget’s disease
A
