what are Christian beliefs about the creation of the universe
- liberal chritians= believe the story of the creation of the universe is symbolic and didnt actually happen
- fundamental christians= believe the story to be true and that god created the universe

muslim belive the universe was designed and made by god
most muslims believe in a 6 day period of creation

the universe started with something hot and dense
over 13.8 billion it expanded into the galaxies
continued to cool and expand causing matter to also spread out creating everything

islam encourages scientific investigation which provides a greater understanding of god
some muslims would also say that what is written in the quran, resembles the big bang theory for example in the Quran it says
“He created the universe, heavens and the earth as one. He split them into two smoke-like forms”

muslim believe the earth and nature to be a gift from god and to be respected as gods creation they also see harm to these as sinful adn disrespectful towards god

they were allowed to live in paradise though were forbidden the fruit from the forbidden tree
Iblis (Shatan) tricked them into eating it and god banished them to earth

in genesis 1, god created all life with human life being created
in genesis 2, god created the first man Adam from soil, he was given knowledge, god then created the first women eve and they lived together in the garden of Eden

what is the theory of evolution
life started as a single cell animals and over a period of time they evolved into creatures such as bird and apes of which it is believed evolved into humans
what are Muslim beliefs about abortion
most muslim believe that abortion is haram but there are some circumstances of which it will allowed such as:
the mothers life is in danger
the baby will cause physical harm or will give mental problems
though poverty isnt a reason for abortion as the quran says
“Do not kill you children in fear of poverty “

christians belive in the sancity of life meaning life is sacred
bible says “you shall not kill” (6th amendment)
the catholic church along with many evangelical Christians believe that abortion is wrong because life begins at conception so abortion is taking away life
what is the muslim belief about euthanasia
Muslim view euthanasia as haram and it goes against the belief that life is sacred and a gift from god.
as it is believed that no one knows gods plan and that person may be suffering for a reason of which we do not know also known as Al -Quadr

what do christians belief about euthanasia
some Christians belief that god gives people free will to end their own life and that euthanasia may be the best option in certain cases such as if the person is in pain or has an uncurable disease

although some Christians say that euthanasia is the deliberate killing of gods creation and that only god should take and give life at the time he decides
as the 6th amendment is “do not kill”
what are muslim beliefs about life after death
- Barzakh - stage of waiting until the day of judgement
god sends angels Nakir and Munkar to ask question about faith - The Day of Judgement- everyone is resurrected to be judged on actions throughout their life and are given a book of their deeds if the book is placed in their right they enter heaven though if the book is placed in their left hand they enter heaven to be punished
- Heaven and Hell - people who have kept their faith in god will be rewarded will heaven and those who havent will be punished in hell (non believers)

that god will judge them depending on there actions and will be sent to heaven or hell
