What is a project?

A

A project is a temporary, uniqe and progress attempt at producing some kind of result be it tangable or untagable, it usally includes a set of tasks to be performed a limted amount of times under limiting requirements and conditions like cost, qulity, perfomance, etc.

What are the main Charateracteristics of a project?

A

There are three main characteristics of a project are:

  1. Progressive Elaboration: As projects progress continues investigation, and improvement become possible, these allow for more comprehensive and acurate plans to made. Iterating over the palnning process can lead to better soluitons in progressing and developing projects
  2. Unique Diliverables:
    Dileverables are what a project aims to produce while addressing specific problems, this could be a product, service etc. Each project should have a unique set of diliverables
  3. Temporary Timeline
    Every project is finite as they must have a start and end, this is fromt he initiation of the project to when the projects objectives are archived, or the when the project is terminated if they cannot be archived.
