What is physical activity?
Physical activity is any movement of the body produced by skeletal muscles, resulting in energy expenditure.

Mental Health definition:
is the capacity of the brain to function well. Eg, memory, ability to focus and acquire new knowledge
Benefits of mental health include:
Reduced stress, increase self confidence, increase self-esteem
Emotional health definition:
is the capacity to appropriately display and control one’s emotions
Eg. being anxious or depressed
Benefits of emotional health include:
Postive mood, resilience, appropriate display of emotions
Social health definition:
is the capacity to get on well with others
Benefits of social health include:
*Improved communication skills *Decreased feeling of isolation and loneliness
*Increased interactions and collaboration with others
Spiritual Health definition:
relates to the ideas, values and ethics that arise in the minds and consciousness of human beings.
Benefits of spiritual health include:
Deepened connection to nature, improved sense of belonging, peace and sense of purpose

the social and cultural influences that shape an individual’s or group’s behavior, values, beliefs, attitudes, and overall way of life.
