What is Piaget’s theory of cognitive development
A
- explains how thinking, reasoning and understanding progresses
- through childhood

What are schemas?
A
- units of knowledge and understanding
- that we have about a person, object or idea

A
- 3 mountains task
- involved stating what a doll could see from different angles
- children in pre-operational stage couldn’t describe what doll could see, thus were egocentric.
