A
- our understanding of thoughts and feelings of others
- referred to as ‘mind reading’
- e.g. when we have a belief of whats in someone else’s mind, such as if upset, we have a theory of mind

- suggests autism is associated with mind blindness
- which is inability to understand what other people think or feel
