    With strong foundation or CORE all other work will be more efficient and correct
  2. Breathing (B)
    Oxygenation of the body is vital to life, effective muscle focus, and well being - Internal Shower
  3. Postural alignment (P)
    Pilates insists on proper alignment to restore and preserve the natural posture were intended to have
  4. Form/precision/control (F)
    Intention and attention are required to focus the mind on all the previous principles
  5. Balance/centering/concentration (B)
    Proprioception - the sense the body has about where it’s at in space
  6. Stamina (S)
    One of goals of Pilates and exercises are designed to flow into each with minimal downtime
  7. Relaxation (R)
    Promoted by the controlled movements and deep breath work along with the stretching
  8. Mind Body Conditioning (M)
    Concentration that Pilates requires to focus on what is being done thus connecting the mind to the body - neuro-pathways are formed with practice
  9. Flow (F)
    Focus on not only grace and fluidity but also the dynamic movement one into the next
