What are the prefrontal cortex and the amygdala known for?

Prefrontal cortex = THINK
Amygdala = FEEL

When is the prefrontal cortex fully developed?

It may not be fully developed until the mid-twenties meaning teens may not fully rationalise things.

What is synaptic pruning?

"If you don't use it, you lose it."

Why do teens thrill seek?

The part of the brain to do with pleasure is not sensitive yet. This is why, stereotypically, adults tend to enjoy the little things in life whereas teens party and drink a lot.
