A

Production ;of primary data can give info thats unique to aim of research

May be gathered from clinical intervuews with mentally ill patients regarding symptoms + experiences

  • More expensive to conduct + collect research data
  • More time consuming
  • More accurate + directly focused on behaviour wanting to be studied

A

Secondary data has already been gathered by someone else + are used by someone else for further research

May be data from other researchers thats re-used for a different purpose, e.g. statistics in a newspaper

  • Not as time consuming
