Antipsychotics with low risk of hyperprolactinaemia

Aripiprazole
Olanzapine
Quetiapine
Clozapine

Side-effects of clozapine

- Common: sedation, hypersalivation, dizziness, weight gain, constipation

- Uncommon: Muscle stiffness or tremor, flu-like symptoms, diabetes, tachycardia

- Rare but serious: Agranulocytosis, seizures, myocarditis, arrhythmias.

Side-effects of lithium

- Common: Tremor, GI upset, polyuria, metallic taste, polydipsia.

- Uncommon: weight gain, hypothyroidism

- Rare but serious: Kidney problems, skin rash

Lithium toxicity

- Blurred vision
- Vomiting
- Sleepiness
- Confusion
- Palpitations

Side-effects of aripiprazole

- Common: Akathisia, GI upset, constipation, headache, insomnia, tremor, dizziness

- Rare but serious: seizures

Side-effects of olanzapine

- Common: sleepiness, weight gain, postural dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, diabetes

- Rare: deranged LFTs, photosensitivity

Side-effects of SSRIs

- Common: nausea, headache, insomnia, sexual dysfunction

- Rare: skin rashes

Side-effects of procyclidine

- Common: dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision

- Rare: euphoria, hallucinations, urinary retention, rash

-CI: glaucoma, GI obstruction
