Pupil premium
Additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. (£900 per disadvantaged child)
Address current inequalities and effectively raise the attainment of children from disadvantaged background.
Motivational talks, individual coaching, breakfast and support sessions with a learning mentor (parents bringing them in), laptops
Need to do: Data tracking that identifies the gaps, high profile of pupils on FSM ( i.e. all staff know who they are so all are aware of their needs), effective teaching and learning, strong careers information and guidance, literacy support, targeted support (tailored individual support) , good attendance, good facilities for supported self-study
