What Radio Comms is required to:
Move Trainset16 (TS16) currently at CUD platform 3 to Road 35 Country
Train is docked correctly and in UTO mode.
What radio chanel will be required for each stage of the communication
Radio channel NTR Staff (Traffic Controllers TC1 & TC2)
TS16:TC1, this is trainset16, over.
TC1: Trainset16, this is TC1 receiving, over
TS16:TC1, asking permission to remove the DDU cover in DTC1, over.
TC1:Roger that Trainset16, you have permission to remove DDU cover in DTC1, over
TS16:Roger that, standby
TS01:TC1, confirming DDU cover is now removed in DTC1. Asking permission to key in and put the train into PM mode, over
TC1:Roger that, you have permission to key in into PM mode, over
TS16:Roger that, doing it now, standby
TS16:TC1 confirming Trainset16 is now in PM mode. Could you please set the route from Tallawong platform 3 to the yard, over
TC1:Roger that, setting route from Tallawong platform 3 to the yard. Standby
TS16:Standing by
TC1:Trainset16, this is TC1. Your route is now set from Tallawong platform 3, to the yard. Once you have a target speed and a clear PPI, you are autherised to proceed. Please contact DTC when you arrive at yard limit, over
TS16: Roger that. Route is now set from Tallawong platform 3, to the yard. Upon receiving a target speed and clear PPI, I am ok to proceed. I will stop at the yard limit and contact DTC. Trainset16 on the move, Trainset16 out.

Radio channel SMTF Depot (Depot Trraffic Controller DTC)
TS16:DTC this is Trainset16, over
DTC:Trainset16, this is DTC receiving, over
TS16:Trainset16 has stopped at the yard limit, requesting permission to enter the yard and checking which road I am going into. Over
DTC:Roger that, I can confirm that that the route is set to go to Road 35 Country. You have permission to proceed when ready, over
TS16Roger that DTC. Route is set to Road 35 country. Trainset16 on the move, Trainset16 out.
Trainset16 docks correctly on Road 35 Country
TS16:DTC, this is Trainset16, over.
DTC:Trainset16, this is DTC receiving, over
TS16:DTC, Trainset16 has docked correctly on Road35 country end. Requesting permission to key out of DTC1, and put it into shutdown mode
DTC:Roger that, you have permission to key out and move to shutdown, over
TS16:Roger that, doing it now. Confirming Trainset16 has been keyed out in DTC1, and moved to shutdown mode
Follow any further orders from DTC
You are at CUD platform 3. The DDU cover is off, and you are already keyed in. SI 4302 is displaying STOP. You are heading to CHW
What COMMS are required?
Me: TC this is trainset xx
TC: Receceiving trainset xx
Me: May I please have a route set from Tallawong Platform 3 to Chatswood
TC: Roger that, setting a route from Tallawong Platform 3 to tue up Chatswood turn back, you may proceed once you have a clear PPI and target speed
Me: Roger that, route set from Tallawong Platforn 3 to the up Chatswood turn back. PPI is clear and I have a target speed. Trainset xx on the move
You arrive at the Down Chatswood turn back, and need to proceed to the other end of the train to return to CUD.
What COMMS are required?
Me: TC2, this is trainset xx
TC: trainset xx, TC receiving
Me: Confirming train is correctly docked at the Chatswood down turnback. Permission to key out of DTC2, and key into DTC1 and engage PM mode.
TC: Roger that, please key into DTC2 and engage PM mode
Me: Roger that, will key into DTC2 and advise
Me: Tc, confirming DTC2 is in PM mode. May I please have a route set to Tallawong platform 3
TC: Roger that, route set from Chatswood down turnback to Tallawong platform 3. Please wait for a clear signal and target speed before proceeding
Me: Roger, confirming route set from Chatswood down turnback to Tallawong platform 3, I have a clear PPI and target speed, trainset xx on the move.
