3

How is a rate written
A
usually as a per b, using / or per
Example: 50km/hr or 60 minutes per hour
4
Q
How do you find a unit rate from a normal rate?
A
Divide both terms so the second is 1
Example: 150/3hr -> 150 ÷ 3 = 50km/1hr
Heres a trick, just divide the denominator (AKA the last number) by the numerator (AKA the (usually bigger) first number)
