How do we find out the relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of refraction?

Answer 1

We shine a ray of light onto the mirror and measure the angles on each side of the normal line. We then repeat the experiment by changing the size of the angle of incidence and measuring the size of the angle of reflection

Angle of incidence = angle of reflection (e.g. if a light ray hits a surface at 32° it will be reflected at 32°)
